Escrime Academy

From CE1 onwards fencing is part of the curriculum. Children have a weekly one hour lesson and are taught by recognised British fencing coaches, in foil, épée and sabre.

Escrime Academy is affiliated to the British Fencing Association. The school follows the official Federation teaching programme (which includes graded badges) and children are encouraged to take part in various national competitions at the weekend.

In Fencing Club and from CE2 for Fencing at school, breeches and long socks are compulsory. Please ensure that long hair is tied back on fencing days.

The school also runs an after-school Fencing club. It is open to the public for children and adults, beginners and advanced fencers.
