ICT suite at L’Ecole de Battersea

The ICT suite at LEcole de Battersea is very well equipped to support the teaching of ICT within the curriculum. It is accessible to all children from CE1 onwards, however teachers use it for cross-curricular activities with the younger classes as well. There are enough computers to allow each child to work independently at their own workstation and this allows objectives and skills to be taught and learnt quickly and independently. Learning is also possible with the aid of an interactive whiteboard which can be used for teacher demonstration and for pupil interaction within the lesson. Interactive whiteboards can also be found in classrooms around the school. The children cover the objectives from the English curriculum and also leave CM2 having completed the French B2i certification in computing knowledge and skills.
