Continuing on to the French secondary system

Pupils leaving L'Ecole de Battersea at the end of CM2 (age 11) are guaranteed a place at the French Lycée in 6ème.

However, this place is not guaranteed should the child leave the school before the end of CM2 (please refer to our terms and conditions). Parents must enrol their child personally and information regarding this is given to parents as required.

Moving on to the English system

(2 photographs)

A number of parents choose to send their children on to the English schools each year.

Pupils who wish to go into the English school system will be assigned a tutor in CM2 (age 11) to assist in achieving English school requirements. The decision regarding this course of action is discussed in CM1.

For information on the French Lycée or any other English school, please do not hesitate to contact the Headmistress.
